Golden Cupids are now providing special Thai Cooking Courses for guests who are interested in learning to cook Thai cuisine. Advice is also given on finding alternative ingredients when guests return home.

Each course is separated into 2 lessons of 3 hrs. The lessons start soon after breakfast with a visit to the village open air market to buy ingredients and see how Thai people shop. Your guide will give, on the spot, advice on buying produce and the selection of herbs.

Back at Golden Cupids Hotel, guests prepare all ingredients with instruction from our teacher followed by the cooking, tasting and serving of the finished dishes.

Thai cooking is an art rather than a science, so a lot of enjoyment is experienced from tasting other guests preparations. Groups often agree to share their dishes thus providing a self cooked meal and saving the cost of lunch in the restaurant.

Normally courses are limited to groups of 2-4, but special arrangement can be made for larger groups.

If required single lessons will be arranged subject to availability.

You don't have to be an expert cook already. Most dishes can be produced spicy (hot) or mild.

RATES : 1,000 THB / person/ 2 dishes including shopping ingredients at local market.

Subject to ingredients being in season and locally available, guests choose the dishes they wish to cook. These are just some of the choices.
